Our materials undergo independent laboratory testing by TÜV SÜD, one of the world’s most trusted certification bodies, to ensure they meet high standards of health, safety, and performance.

PFAS-Free Materials (Tested & Verified)

Our paperboard furniture materials have been tested for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and have successfully passed all requirements.

PFAS, often referred to as “forever chemicals,” are commonly associated with environmental and health concerns. Brown Cirrcle materials were tested in accordance with EN 17681-1:2025 using advanced analytical methods (LC-MS/MS & GC-MS), confirming no detectable levels of regulated PFAS compounds.
 

What this means for you:

Fire Resistance Testing
 

Safety is essential for modern furniture. Our materials have been independently evaluated for fire resistance by TÜV SÜD as per ASTM D777-97 (Method B).

The tests measured flame behavior, extinguishing time, glowing time, and char length under controlled conditions. The results demonstrate controlled burning characteristics, supporting safe material performance for interior applications.
 

Key fire performance highlights:

• Tested flame height: 40 mm

• Burning duration: 12 seconds

• Multiple specimens tested for consistency

• Documented extinguishing and glowing times

Water Absorption (Cobb Test)

To ensure durability and real-world usability, our paperboard material was also tested for water absorption using the Cobb Test (ISO 535:2023).

This test evaluates how much water a material absorbs over a fixed period, helping assess its suitability for furniture applications.

Result:

• Cobb value @ 1800 seconds: 121.5 g/m²

All tests were conducted by TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd., a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization. Testing was performed on production-representative samples under controlled laboratory conditions.
